Water damage, seen or unseen, can wreak havoc in warehouses.  Production time can suffer, inventory is damaged and structural integrity becomes insecure. When water damage strikes at your warehouse or other commercial facility, you need a plan.

Act Fast

Time is money. Acting quickly can save thousands, sometimes millions.

Locate and stop the damage. Most water damage involves either the plumbing system or sudden floods from storms. Know where your water valve is to shut it off.  Be able to locate the most vulnerable, standing-water prone areas to stop the damage. If you’re new or unfamiliar with the warehouse, grab a blueprint or a more seasoned associate. Perhaps grab an associate trained by SERVPRO® to be emergency ready at all times. Again, timeliness counts.
